As the new year begins I would like to take a moment to personally thank you for your support in accepting my monthly newsletters. I have been writing these newsletters for a few years now and am exceedingly grateful for your ongoing support and the wonderful feedback that I regularly receive.
Following the roller-coaster ride of 2020, I’m really happy to be moving into the energy of 2021, a ‘5’ year (2 + 0 + 2 + 1 = 5). Five is about freedom. It is also concerned with transformation. Following the restrictions of 2020 when external circumstances made us take a good, hard look at life and also forced us to look inside ourselves, we are now ready for new and exciting experiences. This year will take us on a fast-paced journey, one that is exciting and full of adventure.
With the shift of the Earth’s frequency, we are moving into uncharted territory. Life is opening up for us and as old patterns fall away, it will never be the same. We can expect a more expanded awareness and with this awareness comes the knowledge that we can create the world we want to live in, a world in which we can all move forward together in the energy of oneness.
As we emerge, we need to continue to stand in our own truth and our own authority and free ourselves from illusion as well as any fear that we may be holding onto, whether personal or collective.
Standing mid-way in the 9-year cycle with four years behind us, and four years in front of us, 5 is the pivotal number of change, expansion and growth. We can expect new experiences and new opportunities, however more than ever before we need to be adaptable to quickly changing circumstances. This is because ‘5’ is associated with the planet Mercury, bringing versatility as well as frequent changes of mind.
Mercury brings a strong focus on communication. This is a rolling stone kind of year where we readily absorb information on a variety of topics. As an exciting year of exploration, opportunities are likely to come our way for us to try something new and different.
On the downside, we can easily lose focus and scatter our energies. It is important to keep our attention on what resonates with us personally and not buy into the hype of the external world. As a year of spontaneity, and in order to move forward, we can also expect a deepening urge for freedom.
January 2021 (1/2021) is a ‘6’ month (1 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 1 = 6). With Venus ruling number 6, we are being provided with an opportunity to gather our thoughts and create space for inner and outer reflection. The world is striving to come back into balance.
At a personal level, relationships are highlighted as Venus is concerned with love and harmony. Venus is also concerned with beauty. We can all do with a bit of pampering so try and do something special for yourself or simply go outside and breathe in the vibrant colours of nature.
If your birthdate adds up to 6, or if you were born on the 6th, 15th or 24th of the month, you carry the ‘6’ energy with you. You are patient and kind with a great love of family and home. At times you feel a huge responsibility to others. This can sometimes be burdensome especially when you put the needs of others before your own. With a strong dislike of conflict, you try and keep the peace whatever the cost.
