Hello Everyone and welcome to my October 2020 Newsletter,
As we move quickly towards the end of 2020, the energy continues to ramp up and exponentially increase. Even though we’re still in a void, we are being pushed towards a state of emergence. Along with a major recalibration, deep level change is occurring. Personally, I’m already feeling a lessening of the intensity that was brought by the ‘4’ Universal month of September.
Something new is opening up and there is a sense of wonder about a bright new future a little beyond our grasp. To me, and to many others that I’ve spoken to, the sky is looking brighter, the Sun looks more vibrant and the colours of flowers and plants are vivid and clear. I would love to hear about anything new that you’re experiencing.
October 2020 is a ‘5’ month (1 + 0 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 0 = 5). Five is the number of freedom. A social and outgoing number, it brings a sense of adventure and hel
ps us to step out of our comfort zone. This is a great month to stretch ourselves and move beyond what we usually do. Number 5 brings an increase in intuition; a central theme in our search for freedom is an inner quest to gain wisdom through spiritual understanding.
The planetary ruler of number 5 is Mercury the messenger, overseeing the two signs of Gemini and Virgo. Mercury delivers a rolling stone kind of energy that propels us quickly forward, helping gather information, knowledge and understanding along the way.
Variety is essential, otherwise restlessness and boredom may quickly set in. During those times when we feel restricted or stuck, a few days away or a change of routine will help us regain balance and perspective. Mercury supports us in being more flexible, both physically and mentally.
This is a great time to avail ourself of opportunities to learn something new, and for communicating and networking with others. Mercury is a changeable planet, so we can expect frequent changes of mind.
As we move towards freedom, it is important to retain healthy boundaries. In the extreme, ‘5’ can be about addiction. Addictions may come in the form of pleasure, for instance food, sex or co-dependency. We can also be addicted to drama and fear; this is no surprise given the tumultuous events of this year. As ‘5’ is a social number we can gain much emotional support by reaching out to those we trust.
If, like me, your birthdate adds up to 5, or if you were born on the 5th, 14th or 23rd of the month, the ‘5’ energy is with you throughout your life. This brings an outgoing nature, one in which friendships are readily formed. You may often have too many irons in the fire, so retaining focus is important, especially at the current time as you will be experiencing a top-up of the ‘5’ energy throughout this ‘5’ personal month.
