“Happiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.”

— Nathaniel Hawthorne

Hello everyone, and welcome to the colourful month of May. I love the above quote which I keep on my desk. Especially at the present time, Nathaniel Hawthorne’s words provide a great reminder for us to take time out, sit quietly in reflection, and to be open to all possibilities.

May is a universal 3 month, (5 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 3 = 12; 1 + 2 = 3), providing us with an extrovert and enlivening energy. This exuberant 3 energy brings new opportunities to help create a new and wonderful reality of joyful experiences.

Number 3 is attributed to the planet Jupiter and the sign of Sagittarius, a Fire sign that urges us to expand our awareness through travel, study, or spiritual pursuits.

This potent energy also supports us in moving out of old patterns of behaviour and outworn beliefs. Number 3 is on the mind plane and is also strongly connected to the heart and our emotions. This creative energy brings a focus to both love and self-expression, supporting us to manifest our desires, helping lead us forward to that place where love is the foundation of our lives.

It is said that transformation of life on Earth is happening with speed that is unprecedented in our universe. It is through our hearts and minds that humanity is advancing in spiritual and conscious awareness. As co-creators, we are part of this awakening process on this evolutionary journey.

Each number has both positive and negative qualities. In the negative, the 3 energy may cause us to be critical or resentful. It’s important at this time for us to think before we speak, and to avoid gossip. If we are feeling anxious or worried, moving into our heart space will help balance our emotions by raising our frequency.

Continuing the theme of house numbers, I hope you will enjoy this snippet of information regarding the numerology of a number 3 house. The description below applies to any houses with multiple numbers, for example 12 (1 + 2), 21 (2 + 1), 84 (8 + 4), and so forth.

HOUSE NUMBER 3

The number 3 house is usually one of charm and colour. This is a cheerful house ideal for entertaining others, and for friendships to blossom. Its occupants are likely to be imaginative and creative, and eager to learn about life. They may spend a great deal of time away from home with travel being a priority for pleasure or business. In the negative, a carefree attitude and scattering of energy can result in an untidy house with unfinished projects.
