June is a 7 month, (6 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 =16; 1 + 6 = 7). This 7 energy urges us to reflect on our past, and to let go of what no longer serves us. Our attention Is being turned inward, and reflection helps bring restoration and renewal.

Holding a high spiritual frequency, number 7 speaks to the unconscious through feelings and symbols. Insights may occur, for instance through dreams, gut feelings, and synchronistic and psychic experiences.

Rather than pushing through to avail ourselves of perceived opportunities in our outer world, this energy encourages us to be still and to wait. To absorb these potent energies we need to give ourselves the time and space to rest both our physical and mental bodies.

If possible, put any big personal decisions on hold until next month. If we rush into something new, we may find out later that we have been looking through rose-coloured glasses; that new relationship, dream house or business contract may not be all it seems. Opportunities will find their way to us as long as we don’t reach for them.

Because 7 is associated with Neptune, a water sign, sensitivity is increased, and our feelings will more readily bubble to the surface. Bathing in this month’s healing energy will help us process and release any emotional baggage and lessen some of the deep pain we may be experiencing through grief and loss. It may be of some comfort to know that any overwhelming emotions relating to the loss of a loved one or a pet ultimately serve to strengthen us spiritually and greatly expand our capacity to be there for others.

At a mundane level, and because of the influence of Neptune, more flooding can be expected, and as our beautiful planet continues to journey back into balance, further movement of tectonic plates may also result in tsunami activity. Not surprisingly, oil will also be back in the headlines.

Below are some ideas of how we can best align with this month’s energy:

Record messages from our dreams in a dream journal.

Dreams are especially significant at this time, and if we write them down as soon as we awaken, we may see interesting patterns emerge.

Find that peaceful moment.

Listen to birdsong, or recordings of whale sounds, meditate and play music. Bathe in essential oils.

Spend time outdoors.

Walk in nature or near flowing water. Talk to your plants and connect with the stars.
