Jeanne Prosser Numerologist

This is a dynamic month. Not only are we experiencing the effects of last month’s potent lunar and solar eclipses; on March 30th Neptune also moved into Aries for the first time since April 1861. Apart from a brief sojourn back into Pisces at the end of the year, Neptune will remain in Aries for the next 14 years.

Neptune is the spiritual awakener. Its combination with Mars, the ruler of Aries, means that powerful Spiritual Warrior energy is coming into play, and will become increasingly evident on the world stage. The powerful solar energies and major planetary movements that included Pluto’s recent move into Aquarius, are signals that we are on the precipice of a dramatic shift. We are stepping into not just a new chapter, but a whole new era.

Returning to numerology, April is a 4 month (4 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 5 = 13; 1 + 3 = 4). Four is very practical, methodical and focussed. Even though the 4 likes routine; its energy is unpredictable. This is because of its association with Uranus, the great awakener. This month we can expect extremes and even volatility. Sudden shifts in world events are likely that will ultimately help move us forward. At a personal level, we may also experience a change in our thinking.

We can use this month’s erratic energy to our advantage simply by trying something new and different. This doesn’t mean that we ourselves need to be erratic or unpredictable. This is about breaking through from our usual routines and habits by being more spontaneous. Maybe we could take a different route home from work through unfamiliar suburbs, or travel along unfamiliar roads to reach a friend’s house. We could perhaps take a picnic dinner to enjoy at the beach rather than eating at home.

This morning, instead of taking my dog Daisy for a walk around my home suburb and into our usual park, I drove to another suburb where there was a considerable area of parkland, as well as some bush and a large artificial waterway. This change of scenery included abundant wildlife which made our walk even more interesting; a bonus was making a new connection with someone that I hadn’t known previously.

In adopting simple measures such as those described above, we are creating new ways to increase the flexibility of mind and body. Importantly, we are nurturing the opening of new channels within our DNA. Not to be overlooked is the fact that we are moving through the Age of Aquarius, and Aquarius demands that we adapt to ever-changing situations. As we traverse April, I would be interested in hearing your stories of any new activities you have undertaken, and whether these have piqued your interest in doing more.
